A little cold weather won’t stop Bindi Irwin’s daughter Grace, 2, from exploring with her “Bunny” (aka, grandma) Terri Irwin. The Australia Zoo conservationist shared several photos of a chilly beach walk with her granddaughter, and it highlights their sweet bond.
Grace is dressed in a blue floral puffer jacket, blue ski pants, and light pink boots as she walks along the sand. Her hair is half up in a ponytail, and she has a sweet expression of curiosity and excitement on her face as she leads her Bunny along the shoreline in the first photo.
For her part, Terri is wearing a long green puffer jacket over jeans, with her long brown hair down behind her back. She’s smiling at Grace in the first picture, looking perfectly content to follow her wherever she may go.
In the next picture, Terri and Grace stop to look at something in the sand. Terri is crouched down pointing at something, as Grace looks up at the sky (maybe spotting a bird overhead?). She looks down at what Terri is showing her in the next shot, as Terri makes an “O” with her finger in the sand. They just casually hang out in the sand in the last two photos, seemingly soaking up the picturesque atmosphere and laidback moment. We are so jealous!
“It’s just Beach.”
Terri also shared a picture of where they were — which was just a wooden sign with the word “Beach” printed on it. And in the words of Oscar nominee Ryan Gosling from Barbie, she wrote, “It’s just Beach.”
Naturally, people went a little wild (with both how cute Grace is and the Barbie reference).
Bindi commented, “I’ll cherish these days forever. ❤️” Another person said, “So beautiful – you, Grace and the beach – all beautiful.”
Others shared GIFs of Ken from the movie, and one person wrote, “Best line from the Barbie movie! 😂 Adorable photos. ❤️” “She’s so good at beach!!! 🩷🩷🩷” someone else praised.
Cutest Bond
Grace and Terri have a strong bond, and they are always doing something fun together. Like when they went on a walk in the snow together, where Terri wrote, “The adventure is even better with someone you love. #NationalWalkingDay.”
Earlier this week, Terri shared a video of Grace walking their family dog Stella “all the way to Africa” in the Australia Zoo. In this cute clip, Grace has a calm, confident energy as she leads her pug Stella through the path. Could she be any more adorable?!
Beach Trip
The photos Terri took today are likely from a recent vacation, as its currently summertime in Australia (and therefore, nobody would be wearing heavy coats at the beach). And Grace’s parents were on the trip, too. Grace’s dad Chandler Powell shared sweet photos of him, Bindi, and Grace all bundled up for the beach last week. At one point, Grace even helped her dad carry a surfboard!
“Winter beach trips with my beautiful little family❤️,” he captioned the sweet post, which had people guessing that they were either in Florida (where Powell is from) or Oregon (where Terri is from).
It doesn’t matter where in the world they are, though — Grace will always have a good time with her family by her side.
