Heidi Klum really knows how to ruffle feathers, and it’s always seemingly done when she talks about her love for being nude. While many were split on the lingerie shoot she did with her daughter Leni Klum, and many had comments on when she boasted about her love for being naked, she’s started the conversation again with her latest admission: how her kids have to warn her to put on a top when their friends come over.
On the Jan 31 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast via People, Klum revealed that her kids have warned her to put on a top when their friends come to visit their home.
“I mean, I try to be like that with my kids. Obviously, when you know, no one is there. I’m in my garden also, you know, I’m topless,” Klum said. “And they will come, like, ‘You know, my friend is coming over mom, put your top on.’ And I’m like, ‘When have I ever not had a top on when your friend was coming over? Of course I will.’”
She added, “But they always make sure. ‘Mom, just a little warning what’s going to happen here.’ And I’m like, ‘Don’t worry.’ I also don’t want to flash anyone just to flash someone. I just don’t love tan lines.”
Quite a few users on X, the app formerly known as Twitter, thought this behavior was “attention-seeking” and problematic, but Heidi isn’t changing her love for being naked anytime soon.
For those who don’t know, Heidi shares four children named: Leni, 19, Henry, 18, Johan, 17, and Lou, 14, with her ex-husband, Seal.
In a now-archived interview with Ocean Drive Magazine per People back in 2016, she talked about how confident she is being naked. “I grew up going to nude beaches with my parents, so I’m a nudist. I have no problems with nudity at all. I’m very free,” she said. “When I go to the beach, it’s in a very remote place where there are not a lot of people, and I like to go topless.”
