Taylor Swift Brought Her Parents to the Super Bowl in a Sweet Show of Support for Travis Kelce

Family is everything. And when Taylor Swift went to the Super Bowl Sunday night to cheer on her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, she brought along her parents for support.

The Grammy winner’s parents, Scott Swift and Andrea Swift, were both photographed in the VIP suite at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. They watched the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25 to 22 in overtime with their daughter, her famous friends Blake Lively and Ice Spice, and Travis’s family, including his parents Donna and Ed Kelce, and his brother Jason Kelce. Jason’s wife Kylie Kelce was seen at the game as well, per Sports Illustrated.

In photos from the event, Scott wears a black long-sleeve sweatshirt as he stands in the back next to Ed. He even brought an old-fashioned digital camera to take photos, in a classic dad move. Andrea stood on Taylor’s row, wearing a black outfit and red scarf. Donna and Jason, meanwhile, were in the row in between Taylor and Andrea and Scott and Ed, with many other friends in the booth as well.

Chiefs Fan

At one point during the game, Scott was dressed in full Chiefs gear, including a black Chiefs sweater, a red Chiefs hat, and a red, yellow, and black Chiefs windbreaker, per Page Six. This outfit shows his progression into a full Chiefs fan over the season, as the “Karma” singer’s dad has traditionally been a Philadelphia Eagles fan. He made waves in Chiefs Kingdom back in November, when he watched Taylor’s Eras Tour concert in Argentina with Travis. At that event, he wore a Chiefs lanyard to show his support for his daughter’s boyfriend.

Jason, a center for the Eagles, called out Scott in an episode of the New Heightspodcast. “Got him over to the good side baby,” Travis joked during the November episode.

“You’re gonna let this man’s devilishly good looks and relationship with your daughter sway you from a lifetime of fandom, Scott. This is ridiculous,” Jason jokingly teased Scott in the podcast.

A month later, Scott attended a Chiefs game against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts. He wore a red-and-black Chiefs sweater as he cheered for the Chiefs next to Taylor and Brittany Mahomes.

Family Time

Taylor brought her parents and her brother Austin Swift to the Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders game at Arrowhead Stadium on Christmas Day. Her brother was dressed in a head-to-toe Santa Claus outfit, complete with a Chiefs hat and scarf. Taylor dressed for the festive game with a Santa hat with Travis’s number “87” on the white fur trim.

Of course, Taylor has also spent plenty of time with Travis’s family at these games. She’s hung out with Donna, Ed, Jason, and Kylie several times, and even went on the field with Donna after the Super Bowl win and after the AFC Championship Game on Jan. 28.

Supportive Partners

These two superstars have a very public relationship, and we love how supportive they are of each other (and of each other’s families). “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care …” the “Cruel Summer” singer told TIME during her 2023 Person of the Year interview about her relationship with Travis. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

Now that the football season is over, we can’t wait to see Travis (and maybe his family too?) supporting Taylor at her upcoming Eras Tour international dates — or maybe they’ll even celebrate their amazing year together at a post-win Disney World trip. Only time will tell!
