She may not have joined him on the Super Bowl Halftime Show stage, but Usher’s 3-year-old daughter Sovereign has officially made her performing debut. ICYMI: The toddler was featured in his new music video for “Ruin” that was released earlier this month.
In it, he gets on the floor with Sovereign — who he shares with wife Jennifer Goioechea — and they play with blocks. The two then have a sweet little tea party, and it’s peak girl dad behavior. He also lifts her up, airplane style, and places a tiara on her head. (As he should!)
As if it couldn’t get any cuter, there’s also a precious moment when Sovereign leans in to cup her dad’s face, flashing a big smile and showing that she loves him as much as he clearly loves her.
“Daddy’s Little Girl,” Usher captioned a clip he shared.
“So sweet! Bring back simple vids like this! They’re memorable. She’s adorable,” one follower commented.
“Most beautiful part of the entire video,” another said, and we couldn’t agree more.

Goicoechea wrote her own post about Sovereign and said she “couldn’t be prouder.”
“My Threenager made her first acting debut in her Daddy’s New single,” the music executive said.
The newlyweds — who famously tied the knot right before the Super Bowl — also share a 2-year-old son, Sire. Usher is also dad to sons Usher “Cinco” V, 16, and Naviyd, 15 who he shares with ex-wife Tameka Foster.
Usher’s rep told Peoplehe and Goicoechea “look forward to continuing to raise their children together surrounded by love and thank everyone for the well wishes.”

Last month, it became perfectly clear who Usher’s kids take after. The “OMG” singer shared a rare video with all four of his kids (so rare that some followers were shocked to find out he has kids!), and they each look like a mini version of him! The singer was quick to admit he sees the resemblance too. “My Twinnem 🙌🏾,” he captioned the clip on TikTok. All four kiddos have his round face, big brown eyes, and totally endearing smile.
Commenters saw the “copy and paste” energy too, saying things like, “Oh how cute Usher and all his twins🥰,” “Everybody has his face🤣💕,” and “Too cute! 4 versions of the same face.”
