Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are notoriously private when it comes to their sons Silas, 8 and Phineas, 3. But special exceptions can be made on Valentine’s Day! The actress posted a tribute to her husband and sons with the caption, “Valentines x3 ♥️♥️♥️.”
The first two photos of the carousel are shots of Timberlake playing with his boys in the snow. In one, he holds Phineas on his shoulders, and in the other, he poses on his snowboard while Silas does the same on his skis.
The third shot is solely of the boys. It’s taken from behind while they eat at the table and watch something with Minions (aren’t there like 800 variations at this point?) on the TV. What was perhaps most striking — beyond the fact that the photos were posted in the first place — was Phineas’ hair.
That kid has such beautiful long blond curls! (Does he use this leave-in conditioner too?!) Followers could not get over the enviable locks that were reminiscent of JT’s NSYNC days. “The blond Justin curls!! ❤️” “Omg look at those blond curls 😍” “Phineas curls❤️❤️❤️”
What Were They Eating?!
We’re dying to know what Silas and Phineas were munching on in that last photo. Over the summer, Biel told SheKnows exclusively that her sons were “picky eaters” and that Phineas was going through a “beige foods phase.” (Ya know, nuggets, fries, pasta.) Is that still true in 2024?
At the time, she said she and Timberlake struggled to get them to eat veggies. A classic parenting woe!
“We often try incentives to taste new foods or offer a fun experience at the end of the week if vegetables are consumed every day, things like that,” she told us. “And it’s fun to make it a really big deal when they do try something new and healthy! Positive feedback and reinforcement!”
And then there’s the universal dread of packing school lunches. It’s a pain point Biel knew all too well, and a reason why she partnered with DoorDash to design Grab & Go Bento to make that part of the morning routine easier.
“Packing school lunches is so hard for parents and guardians because you desperately want your kids to have nutrient-rich foods so they can feel satisfied and be able to focus and thrive at school,” Biel said. “But so often, the nutrient-rich foods are not what they want to eat for lunch!”
They probably got to dig into some Valentine’s Day candy yesterday, but hopefully they didn’t fight her on eating nutrient-rich foods on the day she captured that adorable brotherly shot!
