Your baby is officially a toddler, and they are learning so much about the world — and themselves. At 2, their personality shines, and you can get to know this tiny human in a whole new way. Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently experienced this at a kid’s birthday party. Her 2-year-old daughter Malti Marie, who she shares with husband Nick Jonas, revealed her “fearless and spontaneous” spirit, and a picture of the moment is adorable.
Happy Girl
“R u kidding me?! 🥹😍” the Citadel star captioned a new photo on Instagram, clearly just as enamored by her cute little girl as we are. In the picture, Malti is lying on her back in a ball pit filled with black and white balls. She’s dressed in an adorable green sweater and matching shorts set, paired with white tights. Her hands are in the air and her eyes are squeezed shut as she smiles. Malti is the happiest toddler ever, and she is just glowing as she enjoys the pure joy of being a kid.
In her caption, Chopra Jonas shared how impressed she was with her daughter. “@maltimarie is such a champ,” she wrote. “She surprises me everyday. Fearless and spontaneous. Grateful and curious. In this moment she climbed up this slide all by herself and launched herself off on her TUMMY, down the slide landing into the ball pit in a fit of laughter and unbridled joy.”
What a cutie! She was clearly having the time of her life. As a parent, these are the moments that make it all worth it! The Love Again star also shared how much she will cherish this memory. “I think this will be a picture I will always remember to look at on a day I’m feeling blue,” she wrote. “To remind myself of this moment. Do u have any such memories that you just want to pause in time?”

NICU Mommy
Malti was born in Jan. 2022, where she spent her first 100 days in the NICU. In a Feb. 2023 interview with British Vogue, Chopra Jonas shared how that early experience still affects her as a mom. “The first time she had a solid morsel, she gagged and I thought I’d killed her,” she said, adding that her mother and her in-laws helped. “They talk me through a lot of this. Like, ‘They’re gonna gag. It’s normal.’ But because I’m a NICU mommy, the stakes are so high. And I have to shed that. I will.”
Priorities Changed
She’s also shifted her priorities to focus more on motherhood. “I cannot do as many things as I used to,” Chopra Jonas told Us Weeklyin March 2023. “Because I like to get home for bath time. I like to be there when she wakes up. Those are things that are important to me. … So I can’t do as much, but still, you figure it out, you know?”
But with the help of others, her and Jonas are figuring it out. “My mom’s around, Nick’s parents come in when we have to travel,” she told the outlet. “Both of us have to travel, but you kind of make it work. It takes a village and she’s the greatest gift of our lives.”
