The world is her oyster, and Malti Marie is enjoying every bit of it! Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas’s 2-year-old daughter reached a magical milestone this week, with tons of photos and videos to document it. She’s a little adventurer already!
Hiking
The Citadel star posted about Malti’s new experience: her first hike at Topanga State Park! “The magic of nature. Her first hike,” Chopra Jonas captioned the post.
She also shared how the hike went. (Spoiler alert: it was perfect!) “She touched everything, jumped in puddles till she was muddy till her knees,” Chopra Jonas wrote. “To witness her in real time experiencing everything for the first time … is just her magic dust that she sprinkles in my life every day. ❤️😍🙏🏽”
What an amazing outing! In the first photo, Malti is on a bridge overlooking the trees beyond. She’s wearing a leopard-print hoodie with black leggings for her wild adventure. There’s also a video of her walking along the bridge, clomping her little black boots with each step. She’s just too cute!
In one picture, Malti plays in the mud with a friend (or cousin). In another, she takes a rest with her mama, drinking juice to cool off. Two videos at the end show the sweet bond between mother and daughter. The first was taken at the beginning of the trip, where Chopra Jonas sits in the car next to Malti and holds her hand.
“Where are we going?” the Love Again star asks her daughter.
“Hike!” she responds in the cutest voice — she is so talkative! In the next video, she walks hand-in-hand with her mom, babbling away as she looks at rocks and grass and dirt all around her. At one point she says, “OK, here we go,” with the sweetest little toddler voice.
The sweet post garnered a “😍,” comment from Nick. Kerry Washington commented, “The world through their eyes is just so magical 🌟.”
Others praised the sweet post as well. “This is the content I live for 😍 she’s just the cutest,” one person wrote. Someone else commented, “Her little voice STAWP IT 🥹🥹.”
Along for the Ride
Although this is Malti’s first time hiking herself, she has been on a hike with her mom before — she was just too little to walk. In July 2022, when Malti was only 5 months old, Chopra Jonas wore her baby girl in a carrier strapped to her chest as she went on a hike with a friend and her baby. Malti wore the cutest little blue bucket hat paired with a tiny pink jacket and black pants with a pink heart patch on the knee.
Her love of adventure has only grown as Malti’s gotten older. Last week, the toddler went to a friend’s birthday party, where Chopra Jonas shared the cutest picture of her smiling in a ball pit.
“R u kidding me?! 🥹😍” the Quantico star wrote. “@maltimarie is such a champ. She surprises me everyday. Fearless and spontaneous. Grateful and curious.”
“In this moment she climbed up this slide all by herself and launched herself off on her TUMMY, down the slide landing into the ball pit in a fit of laughter and unbridled joy,” she added. “I think this will be a picture I will always remember to look at on a day I’m feeling blue. To remind myself of this moment. Do u have any such memories that you just want to pause in time?”
I’m sure this sweet, messy, sunshine-filled hike has been added to Chopra Jonas’s list of moments she never wants to forget. Malti seems to make even the simplest of moments more fun!
