Natalie Portman Is Spotted on a Rare Family Outing with Husband Benjamin Millepied & Kids Amid Divorce Speculation

Natalie Portman has been attending red-carpet events solo lately amid rumors that husband Benjamin Millepied had an alleged affair with climate activist Camille Étienne last June. But the couple must still have a civil relationship, as they were recently spotted on a rare family outing together with their kids Aleph, 12, and Amalia, 6.

Family Lunch

The May December star and French choreographer husband took their children to lunch in Los Angeles on Thursday in pictures obtained by Page Six. She was dressed casually in jeans and a tie-dye Radarte sweatshirt. Notably, she was not wearing her wedding ring.

Amalia wore a Stitch t-shirt with a pink skirt and black Crocs, with a scary clown mask covering her face. Aleph wore a black “Don’t ask me for sh-t” t-shirt with black jeans, and Millepied had on a plain black t-shirt with jeans.

At one point during their casual stroll, the Black Swan star smiled while her daughter looked at something on her phone, per a video in the Daily Mail. They all seemed to be in good spirits.

Cheating Rumors

In 2023, the French magazineVoici shared allegations of infidelity with Étienne. Since then, insiders have said the duo is staying together for their kids. “Divorce is in the works, but nothing has been filed as of yet,” sources told Daily Maillast month. “They are split, however, and she is living in Paris while Benjamin continues to work in the US. They are figuring out what is best for their children, as they both have so much love for them and are great parents.”

They added, “Natalie needed time to process and heal and those around her know how strong of a woman she is and how dedicated to her causes she is, including women’s empowerment. No woman should have to put up with a cheating spouse. She has been private about it because that is who she is.”

The Oscar winner addressed the comments for the first time in Vanity Fair’s 30th annual Hollywood issue, published on Feb. 21. She was asked about the cheating allegations, and Portman responded, “It’s terrible, and I have no desire to contribute to it.” The reporter noted that they “don’t love asking about it, either.” Portman simply responded, “I can imagine.”

Self-Love

In the past, the Thor: Love and Thunder star shared her trick for parenting, and we can totally see how it would apply to her current situation with Millepied.

“Give yourself a break — literally and figuratively,” she told British Vogue in 2016. “We all hold ourselves to such a high standard and it’s a constant balancing act. If you have one bad day, don’t let it define you. There’s always tomorrow.” She added, “I also think it’s important to carve out time for yourself. It’s easy to forget that but it’s so important.”
