It’s a big week for Kim Kardashian’s son Saint! The 8-year-old is rising up in the sports world, and he just celebrated two major milestones with his mom cheering him on every step of the way. (It’s giving “momager,” but in sports instead of entertainment).
An All-Star!
On Saturday, the SKIMS founder shared that her son leveled up in basketball. “Saint made the All Star team 💥,” Kardashian captioned a video shared to her Instagram story, per PEOPLE. “They won and he played so good.” (We love how proud she is of her baby boy!)
In the clip, Saint ran across the court dribbling the ball, then scored a basket. She also shared another video of Saint scoring in the game, showing off his impressive skills.
But Saint isn’t just a rising basketball star — he’s also super into soccer. On Sunday, Kardashian brought her son to the Inter Miami vs. LA Galaxy soccer game, where he got to walk onto the field with none other than Inter Miami star Lionel Messi!
Special Soccer Experience
The team, owned by David Beckham, shared a video of the moment on Instagram. “Ready for Game 2️⃣ 😤,” they captioned the clip, which showed Saint in an LA Galaxy outfit as he walked hand-in-hand with Messi ahead of the game.
The Kardashians star shared the clip on Twitter, which included other kids walking out with soccer stars, writing, “Saint walking Messi out on the field tonight at the La Galaxy vs Inter Miami game!!! He is living the absolute dream!”
Saint and Kardashian attended the Argentinian star’s Major League Soccer debut in July 2023 in Florida. Kardashian opened up to an Apple TV reporter about her son. “He’s obsessed with soccer. And I will do everything for my babies. So I’ve traveled the world. We do soccer trips and it’s not stopping. All summer we’re going to different exhibition games,” she said.
Later, Saint interrupted his mom’s interview to show her something, and Kardashian explained, “He has the players’ sweat on him,” she said. “Oh my gosh. They’re so excited. That just makes me so excited.” Ew!! But also, cute!
Saint and his friend also got to meet Messi. Kardashian shared a picture on her Instagram story, writing, “Best day of their entire lives.”
Sports Lover
The SKKN BY KIM founder shares Saint and North, 10, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 4, with ex Kanye West. The duo recently reconnected at one of Saint’s basketball games, where they appeared civil as they watched their son together.
It’s all because Saint just loves sports! He had a soccer-themed birthday party in December, complete with a chocolate soccer ball, soccer activities, personalized soccer jerseys, and soccer-themed activities.
In an interview with CR Fashion Bookin Sept. 2023, Kardashian shared how she enjoys cultivating each of her kids’ personalities. “Each one of my babies is so different and I love that and try to nurture that,” she said. “Lately, I have been traveling with each of my children separately to take them on some one-on-one time exploring different cultures and worlds. And at the same time doing things that they are passionate about.”
“For example, Saint loves soccer so I’ve enjoyed traveling the world to see games and really bonding with him through the sport,” she continued. “I want all of my kids to be one-hundred percent who they are.”
