Performing is in her blood, so it’s no surprise that Jeannie Mai’s 2-year-old daughter Monaco is so entertaining. The toddler sang her heart out in a new video, and she’s the cutest little performer ever!
“Love is in the air yall 💕,” The Real host posted on Instagram this week. She shared several photos and videos of life lately, and if you swipe all the way to the end, you’ll see the adorable Monaco’s performance. The toddler is standing on a tiny foam block, dressed in a white leotard with a matching bow in her hair. She’s singing something indecipherable at the top of her lungs, while putting her arms in the air and twirling around. She keeps moving her arms up and down, singing and dancing, while her mom can be seen in the background getting all dressed up for the 2024 People’s Choice Awards. She is 100% her mom’s mini-me!
In the carousel, Mai also shared a video of her and Monaco jumping at a trampoline park. They are just bouncing up and down on nearby trampolines, and you can hear Monaco’s delighted shrieks as she spends time with her mama. She’s just so cute!
One person asked Mai, “lol what is Monaco singing? 🤣🤣” She responded, “girl u tell me but her latest thing is finding any ‘platform’ to speak her truth and I’m here for it 📢👏😂” Yes, girl! We love that.
“It’s Coco singing in the last slide 🤣😍 with the little jump 🤣🤣 on her platform,” another said. Someone else wrote, “The last video!! 🥹🥹🥹 why is she so freakin adorable!!! 🥰”
Dancing Queen
The Raid the Cage host shares Monaco with ex Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins. The couple married in 2021 and split in Sept. 2023 when Jeezy filed for divorce. Since then, Mai has been focused on her daughter.
In a Dec. 2023 Instagram post on Monaco’s second birthday, Mai filed a heartwarming letter to Monaco about how much she loves her — and her awesome dance moves. “To my dearest @monacomaijenkins, When you entered this world, you forever changed the trajectory of my life,” she wrote. “Your adorable giggle and dance moves to anything MJ 🎤 remind me to cherish the simple things, and your defiance inspires me to face my challenges with courage. You brought a profound sense of purpose and fulfillment into my existence 🥹.”
Greatest Gift
She also gushed about her daughter in an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. “Monaco is everything, she’s everything, she’s just my whole world,” Mai said. “I think we’re present and we’re alive right now, but I think every parent can tell you that when you have a baby, you get a chance to be born again. This entire world has become a whole different place to me with different colors and sights and sounds because of Monaco.”
“So reliving my life and reparenting myself through this little girl has been the greatest gift of my life,” she added.
