While the world is in disarray as Kate Middleton remains away from the public eye, and as she broke the unofficial royal motto of “Keep Calm and Carry On” by publicly saying she was at fault for the editing snafu, many are talking about another alleged Photoshop incident.
In case you need a refresher, while the internet is losing it, wondering about Kate’s whereabouts, she posted a photo of herself, along with her and Prince William’s three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, for UK Mother’s Day, but it was taken down from sites due to the editing errors.
Kate revealed she was the one who edited the photo, saying via DailyMail, “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C.”
So, Kate quickly shut down the rumors about the photos; however, when Meghan Markle found herself in a somewhat similar situation, she wasn’t the one to speak up about it.
If you need a refresher, we need to go back to 2019, when Meghan and Prince Harry released their annual Christmas card.
In the card, we see the parents looking at their son, Prince Archie, who is at the center of the black and white photo. Many accused Meghan of photoshopping the picture because her image was so much clearer than Harry’s, and even accused her of photoshopping Archie.
However, per DailyMail, she wasn’t the one to comment, because the photographer did. Janina Gavankar said that that was the photo she took and no one was Photoshopped, disproving the rumors for Meghan and Harry.
