Kate Middleton’s UK Mother’s Day post was meant to be a sweet update on the family of five, but because of the editing, the Palace has never been more criticized. Amid Kate’s absence from the public eye until after Easter, many have wondered where she is, how she’s doing, and what the heck is going on behind closed doors. Many have also wondered if Kate will ever upload another family photo again, despite agencies calling out the Palace for the doctored photo and losing credibility. However, royal aides claim she has a plan to upload the next family photo, specifically on Prince Louis‘s birthday on April 23.
An aide told the Sunday Times on March 16 that “They appreciate the public’s love and affection for their children and know there is a public appetite to see them on their birthdays.”
While insiders also told the outlet that there is “no firm decision” on whether she’ll snap it herself or a get a professional, royal fans can expect a sweet pic of the royal wild child.
Now, nearly every year, Kate and William release photos of their children on their respective birthdays, oftentimes with Kate being the one to take the snapshots. She broke that tradition last year with Louis’ fifth birthday photos, but we may get another Kate pic soon.
For those who don’t know, William and Kate have been together on and off since 2003. They married in 2011, and have since welcomed three children named Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Louis, 5.
