Back in Jan 2024, Buckingham Palace revealed that Catherine, Princess of Wales, also known as Kate Middleton, wouldn’t make any public outings until after Easter. Well, Easter is around the corner, and it’s been confirmed that she, Prince William, and their kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, won’t be trending the annual Easter church service at St George’s Chapel. But, the family of five did go on a recent outing after Kate announced her cancer diagnosis, and it truly shows her focus is all about family.
On March 24, Entertainment Tonight reported that the Prince and Princess of Wales swooped their family into a helicopter to go their vacation home: Anmer Hall in Norfolk. (This is typically a 2.5-hour drive, so it was probably a breeze on an airplane.)
The family is spending the children’s Easter break there to spend an intimate time together, with King Charles III possibly making an appearance there.
The family makes time to go to their country home whenever they can. Amner Hall was actually a wedding gift given to the happy couple by the late Queen Elizabeth II, per UK Vogue; it’s a ten-bedroom home with a swimming pool and a tennis court.
So while Kate recuperates from telling everyone about her shock cancer diagnosis, it’s good to know the Wales family will be together at their home away from home.
For those who don’t know, William and Kate have been together on and off since 2003. They married in 2011, and have since welcomed three children named George, 9, Charlotte, 8, and Louis, 5.
