Khaki runs in the Irwin family, so it’s no surprise that the youngest member of the Wildlife Warriors has her own khaki shirt, too. Bindi Irwin’s 3-year-old daughter Grace Warrior looked adorable in her little Australia Zoo uniform in a new family photo, and she’s definitely the cutest member of the Khaki Crew!
Bindi’s mom (and Grace’s “Bunny”) Terri Irwin shared a new photo of her family and two family friends on Instagram today. Grace sits on a pink floral blanket on the grass in the middle of the family. She’s wearing a “Steve Irwin Day” khaki shirt as she smiles at something off camera, looking gorgeous. The toddler is all grown up and so happy in the cute picture.
Grace sits in the middle of her parents, Bindi and her husband Chandler Powell. Terri and her son Robert Irwin sit to Bindi’s left, with Luke Reavley and husband Mitch sitting in the back. Everyone is wearing khaki like the late Steve Irwin used to do, and it’s so sweet.
The family matriarch wrote a moving letter to her family in the caption. “Family means more to me than anything,” Terri wrote. “I am truly blessed, and I’m thankful every day to be surrounded by so much love.”
“Unconditional love is truly the meaning of life.❤️” she added. (It’s OK if you’re bawling right now because we are too.) This family is so pure and full of love!
Bindi commented on the photo, “We love you so much.” Aww! Someone else wrote, “You have done an amazing job with Bindi and Robert – down to earth, kind wonderful humans and you must be too.”
“Kind. Brilliant. Funny. Educating, inspiring, and impacting the world… What a GREAT crew!! 💪🧠❤️” someone else said.
Earlier this month, Bindi shared her own heartfelt note to her family members. “Khaki Crew forever,” she captioned a family selfie.
“What you can’t see in this selfie is Grace running laps in front of us because she was so joyful after seeing a koala. ❤️” she continued. “I wanted to take a moment of appreciation for this group right here. I could spend a lifetime counting all the ways they are special to me.”
She told her brother in part, “Watching you grow and evolve has been nothing short of extraordinary. I am beyond proud and thankful to be your sister.” Bindi called her husband her “sunshine,” adding, “Raising our beautiful Grace together is something I cherish with my heart and soul. This life we are building is more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.”
“The reason we are all here today, standing up for wildlife conservation and continuing Dad’s legacy, it’s because of you,” Bindi wrote to her mom. “I am in awe of your hard work, love and dedication.”
“My beautiful family – I love you with all my heart. For all my days, ❤️” she added.
