Truth be told, I’ve always been a Sanrio fan ever since I was a kid. The Sanrio store was the one store at the mall I always dragged my mom too. I had everything from a Hello Kitty backpack to a plastic Keroppi wallet, to all kinds of pens and notebooks of various characters. With that said, I’ve never really been a plushie kind of girl. Sure, I had my favorites when I was a toddler. But it’s never been something I just had to collect. That is, until Squishmallows entered my life.
The very first Squishmallow I ever got was a jumbo-sized, 20-inch Hello Kitty from Costco. At the time, I had never seen a Squishmallow that huge before. Naturally, I had to get it. To this day, it’s still my go-to pillow for lounging on my couch. And yes, the collection has grown. I say all of this because I kind of know a thing or two about Squishmallows, in particular, Sanrio Squishmallows.
As with any huge fandom, collabs with big brands (like Squishmallows) tend to be highly sought after by fans. Sanrio Squishmallows are no exception.
