Chrissy Teigen officially has three steady walkers in her house! (Well, five if you count her and husband John Legend.) Baby Esti is on the move, and her parents aren’t the only ones who are proud. In a new video that Teigen posted on Instagram, her 1-year-old walks through the living room with a huge grin on her face.
“Her proud smile as she passes by 😁,” one follower commented.
What makes the video even cuter is that Esti is walking in squeaker shoes that sound like a dog toy every time she takes a step. Even if adults eventually find it annoying, it’s a fun and encouraging way to get kiddos to keep going. Luckily, it doesn’t seem like Teigen will mind the sound any time soon.
“NOOOOO I CANT TAKE IT I LOVE SQUEAK SHOESSSSSS,” the cookbook author captioned the video.

Esti was strutting her stuff in these adorable squeaky unicorn shoes that come in 26 designs and have nearly 12 thousand rave reviews on Amazon. For parents who think the squeak will drive them crazy, don’t worry. It can be turned off! Plus, one shopper said they love that the insoles can be removed since their son wears foot braces.
“So far these have been the best shoes I’ve found for my kid,” another shopper said. “They fit comfortably, great material, durable … My kid loves that they squeak and so do the many people who come across us walking around with him … you can always know where they are in public too! I can’t express enough how great these shoes are.”
One follower told Teigen that Legend needs to mix the sound of Esti walking into one of his songs, and we’d love to see (hear?!) that happen!
Legend revealed that he and Teigen make it a point to take some time away from their four kids … and their squeaky shoes. Along with Esti, they’re the proud parents of Luna, 7, Miles, 5, and Wren, 9 months (ICYMI: He was born via surrogate), and they know how important it is to recharge.
“Chrissy and I have committed to doing a staycation one night a month to get away from the kids,” the “All of Me” singer said at the Voices of Beauty Summit.
Whatever they do — sometimes they hit up a spa! — they find a way to enjoy each other’s company without the kiddos and without having their jobs at the forefront of their minds.
“If you don’t [intentionally] take those moments to reset … I think then time can get away from you because you’re always going to have something to do,” Legend said. “You’re always going to have work to do.”
And now we know that work [hopefully!] involves getting Esti’s squeaky steps on one of his tracks.
