April Fool’s Day is over, but some people are still sharing distasteful pregnancy jokes. Daniel Tosh spread a rumor that Kylie Jenner is pregnant with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet‘s baby, and sources slammed the unfounded speculation.
Let’s start at the beginning. On today’s episode of his Tosh Show podcast, per Us Weekly, the comedian claimed that a Malibu grocery store worker told him that Jenner was filming a scene for The Kardashians in which she was going to announce her pregnancy.
“Here’s something crazy. I went to the grocery store in Malibu, and I was talking to an employee there,” Tosh recalled. “I try to avoid it but I was talking to this guy, and I said, ‘Why were you guys closed yesterday?’ He goes, ‘Well, I’m not supposed to discuss it, but Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the show, was filming their season finale here yesterday.”
First of all, that’s not even the name of the series that’s airing now. Secondly, would a random grocery store employee really be privy to the knowledge of a pregnancy from this famous family? The whole thing is just a little ridiculous.
“This random grocery store person is telling me that they rented out the entire store, shut it down and then, they acted like they were grocery shopping,” Tosh continued on his podcast. “This was the scene that apparently happened: Kylie reveals that she’s pregnant again with Timothée’s kid. What a bombshell.”
He added, “This might not be true. I am not verifying anything. This is what an employee at a grocery store in Malibu told me.”
Now, sources are stepping up to slam these rumors. Insiders close to the production of The Kardashians said that not only is Jenner not pregnant, but also the Kardashian-Jenners didn’t film their season finale or any scenes of this season of the show in that grocery store. (The Kylie Cosmetics star hasn’t given a statement about the rumors yet.)
Jenner is currently mom to daughter Stormi, 6, and son Aire, 2, with ex Travis Scott. She split from her on-again, off-again boyfriend in Jan. 2023 and started dating Chalamet a few months later. They made their public debut at Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour in September and attended the 2024 Golden Globes in Jan. 2024.
Sources told OK! Magazinein Oct. 2023 that the Wonka star is involved in Stormi and Aire’s lives. “He’s great with them,” the insider said. “They adore him and have gotten pretty close to him because he’s always at the house and staying over.”
They added that Jenner has “really fallen for Timothée and is thrilled the kids love him just as much as she does!”
If they do decide to have kids one day, let’s let them announce it in their own way instead of speculating on a pregnancy, OK?
