Remember when the internet exploded when they heard that Jessica Chastain and Bradley Cooper were in the same parent group? It’s always cool to hear about celebrity parents being friends, having the same parenting groups, and, in this case, having to go to a parent-teacher conference together because of their kiddos.
While appearing on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live on April 4, Kirsten Dunst revealed that not only do she and Kimmel have kids in the same class, but they had a squabble! Specifically, her eldest son Ennis and Kimmel’s youngest Billy had a tussle.
Kimmel started the conversation by saying, “They had a fight, you know.”
To which Dunst responded by saying, “Oh, I heard in our parent-teacher conference. Miss Julie told me about it.”
She added, “I think Billy was sitting in a chair and Ennis then went to maybe sharpen a pencil or something, came back, saw there was an empty chair, sat in it, and then Billy came back and was mad that Ennis was in his chair.”
He said he “heard a similar story, adding that “kids love sharpening pencils. You can use them as a weapon to fight for your chair.”
Dunst then gave the crowd the end of the story, saying, “And then, yeah, there was a displacement there and then they both cried. They both cried. It was the only drama I heard.”

This definitely sounds like a dramatic endeavor, but we’re sure the parents handled this gracefully!
Dunst and her husband Jesse Plemons first met in 2016, and got engaged a year later in 2017. As of April 2024, the happy couple shares two sons together named Ennis, born in May 2018, and James, born in May 2021.
And as for Kimmel, he has four children total. He shares two children with ex-wife Gina Maddy named Katherine, born in 1991, and Kevin, born in 1993. He also has a daughter named Jane, born in 2014, and a son named William “Billy,” born in 2017, with his wife Molly McNearney.
