Halle Berry is the mom of two kids: a 16-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son; and it turns out they’re quite different from one another. Not only are they at different points in their lives, but they apparently will have majorly different reactions to their mom’s upcoming horror film.
In a recent interview with Extra at 2024 CinemaCon, Berry talked about her new horror film Never Let Go, and if she’ll let her kids see the movie when it comes out in Sept.
Her daughter? Totally, but her son? He may not see it, or be into horror movies.
Berry said, “My 16-year-old, yeah. My son would have nightmares for a very long time, so no. I mean, he saw a trailer of a scary movie and it took us a year to get him to go to bed by himself, so he won’t be seeing it.”
But she added that her daughter will definitely “like this.”
The upcoming film Never Let Go is a horror film starring Berry, Matthew Kevin Anderson, and Christin Park; which follows a family that’s haunted by an evil spirit, and one of their kids questions if it’s even real. The movie is expected to come out on Sept 27, 2024.
For those who don’t know, the Oscar-winning actresshas two children. First, she and model Gabriel Aubry started dating in Nov 2005, soon welcoming their daughter Nahla in March 2008. Then, Berry and her ex-husband Olivier Martinez welcomed a son named Maceo-Robert in Oct 2013.
