One comment, which echoed what many others said, wrote, “I LOVE YOU AND I KNEW IT.”
Back in December, a source broke the news, telling Us Weekly, “Nelly and Ashanti are welcoming their first baby together.” Around the same time, TMZhad obtained a video of Ashanti putting her hands on her stomach at smiling at Nelly at his 11th Black and White Ball in St. Louis, which was seemingly alluding to her pregnancy.
The “Country Grammar” rapper originally dated Ashanti of and on in the early aughts before breaking up in 2013. They rekindled their romance in May 2023. Nelly is also dad to Chanelle, 30, and Cornell Haynes III, 25, with ex Channetta Valentine, and he adopted kids Shawn and Sydney Thomas when his sister Jackie Donahue died of cancer in 2005, according to Essence.
