Ashley Tisdale is preparing to welcome Baby No. 2 and realizing her closet may need a revamp in the not-so-distant future. The High School Musical star posted a mirror selfie on Instagram while wearing a casual yet chic outfit: Light-wash jeans, a black crop top, and a tan jacket.
She accessorized the look with black loafers, chunky black shades, and an oversized black clutch, but the main “accessory” is her baby bump. Her bare bump was on full display, and it had us (once again!) marveling at the beauty of pregnancy.
“You’re absolutely glowing ash 😍❤️,” one follower said, and they’re so right! “Looking 🔥🔥🔥🔥,” another added. “Sharpay having a FABULOUS pregnancy 💕💕💕💕,” one person said, referencing Tisdale’s notoriously fabulous character from HSM.
One thing Sharpay would likely not find fabulous about the situation is that Tisdale’s hand was somewhat forced when it came to this outfit. The pants might not have been her first choice. “the only jeans that will fit me right now,” the actress captioned the photo.
Because that bump is growing! One person had a hilarious comment, saying “Caption be like” and then adding a gif of Rachel McAdams as Regina George in Mean Girls saying, “These sweatpants are all that fits me right now.”
Tisdale might find herself in the same position too, and we hope she can embrace extra-comfy loungewear for the rest of her pregnancy.
She and her husband Cristopher French also share a 3-year-old daughter Jupiter. The couple announced last month that Jupiter would be a big sister. She shared the sweetest carousel of photos on Instagram where she also showed off her bare bump. She may have even been wearing the same jeans in those photos.
People were so excited for the family of three and for the fact that Tisdale and her HSM co-star Vanessa Hudgens are pregnant simultaneously. “Sharpay and Gabriella having babies at the same time 🥹🥹,” one person commented. “The next generation of wildcats is coming!!!” another devoted fan said.
And perhaps the next generation of denim for Tisdale’s closet?
