Young padawan Grace Warrior is channeling her impressive power in an unbelievably cute new photo. And though Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell’s daughter is only 3, she’s already got some mad skills! (Or, at least, one of her family members has mad Photoshop skills …)
Grace’s grandma Terri Irwinshared the cute picture on Star Wars Day on May 4th, captioning it, “The Force is strong with this one. #MayThe4thBeWithYou”
Grace wears a white floral shirt with blue pants and sneakers on the beach. Her hands are raised to the sky and the wind is blowing her hair as she looks up. Lightning crackles from her little fingertips, hitting droid ships (starships? Some kind of other galaxy flight vehicle from Star Wars) which are flying in the cloudy purple sky above her. You can also see the Death Star above her, but Grace isn’t afraid. After all, she has a belt with a lightsaber strapped to her hip. (No worries that it’s just edited-in — all the bad guys are too.) And for extra protection, the droid BB-8 sits on the sand behind her.
Grace’s uncle Robert Irwin shared the same photo on his Instagram, captioning it, “Grace. Grace Skywalker. #MayTheFourthBeWithYou”
Star Wars fan or not, this photo is beyond adorable. “Woww, Grace💗 is really a powerful little warrior 💖💥⚡️💫,” one person commented. Someone else wrote, “Cutest little Jedi ever!!” another said.
Grace has been a sci-fi fanatic for a while. Last April, Bindi posted a cute video of Grace wearing a Star Wars-inspired Easter shirt, featuring R2-D2 and Baby Yoda both wearing bunny ears. In the video, Grace points to each character and says their name in an adorable toddler voice.
She comes by it naturally, as Robert is a self-proclaimed “Star Wars nerd.” In 2021, Disney sent him a limited-edition bad batch clone trooper helmet, which was “one of only 12 in existence.” He shared photos of it on Twitter writing, “safe to say that this Star Wars nerd was pretty stoked!! 😁” He also dressed up as Luke Skywalker on Halloween one year, with his pug Stella in his backpack in little Yoda ears.
Grace is a Jurassic Park fan, a Disney lover, and a Star Wars nerd. She’s the coolest toddler ever!
