Summertime is just around the corner, and Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s 6-month-old son Rocky is already a certified beach baby! The Blink-182 drummer shared the cutest new video of his baby boy, revealing his chunky thighs and sweet rubber band arms.
“Grateful 🙏🏼” Barker captioned the video on Instagram, featuring him and Rocky on their recent Bahamas vacation. Barker crouches down in the shallow water on the beach, holding Rocky up with his hands on his chest. Rocky is dressed in a white onesie and green bucket hat as he moves his foot in the water.
“You love it? Does that feel good on your feet?” Barker asked his son, as the water gently laps over his little baby toes. The camera zooms in to give a better look at his little roly poly thighs and arms. Rocky is so cute!
“Love chunky baby legs 💕” one person commented. Another wrote, “He’s a little Michelin man, those little tires on arms and legs❤️❤️❤️”
In the photo carousel, Barker also posted a selfie with his daughter Alabama, 18, and a photo on a boat with stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 25, both of whom he shares with ex Shanna Moakler. (Their 20-year-old son Landon did not go on the trip.) He also shared a video of himself riding a bike on a beach road and a picture kissing Kardashian as she drives a boat.
The Kardashians star has shared several photos from the beach trip as well, including one on her 45th birthday that shows her enjoying a pool with her 11-year-old daughter Penelope, hanging out in a dock with 9-year-old Reign, riding bikes, and watching fireworks with Reign and Rocky. (She shares Penelope, Reign, and Mason, 14, not pictured, with ex Scott Disick.)
She shared another photo dump from the trip last week, captioning it, “it’s better in the Bahamas.”
Last month, the Lemme founder shared pictures of herself in a black bikini, this time with a message for “new mommies” struggling with their postpartum bodies. “Your body is beautiful at all stages,” she wrote. “During pregnancy as we are glowing and growing, postpartum as we are healing and shrinking, and then that period I find the hardest as our bodies are still adjusting. And if you’re breastfeeding, that’s a whole other part of it. I try to be kind to myself as my body finds a new normal. The pressure put on us to bounce back when everything is new and different isn’t realistic. Life is beautiful, you are beautiful. Just a little reminder (for me too;) XOXO.”
It’s not easy to accept your body — especially as we approach swimsuit season! — but when you can focus on your adorable baby enjoying the water and the magic of life, it makes it a little bit easier. Just remember: your kids don’t see you as anything other than their loving mom.
