Sometimes when people say, “pregnancy is beautiful,” I just burst out laughing. I can’t help it. Sure, the idea of pregnancy is beautiful — the miracle of life and all that. But the actual reality of pregnancy is not. (At least for me.) Nothing about the swollen ankles, stretch marks, hot flashes, nausea, or irritability made me feel remotely like I was glowing during my three pregnancies. But seeing Jenna Dewan’s latest maternity pictures might have just singlehandedly changed my mind. She makes even resting on an uncomfortable exam table at the OB-GYN’s office look red-carpet worthy, and I’m in absolute awe of her!
“Some moments I have loved lately 🤍” the Step Up alum wrote on Instagram today. Dewan is currently pregnant with her third child, and second with fiancé Steve Kazee. In the first photo, she is jaw-droppingly gorgeous in a colorful blouse and matching pants that look silky smooth like pajamas. The top is unbuttoned to reveal her bare bump, and she relaxes nonchalantly in the exam room with one hand cradling her bump. Her shoes are off and tucked neatly on her side as she gazes off in the distance, looking elegant in slicked back hair and big hoop earrings. She looks utterly relaxed, like she’s lounging at the pool. Flawless is an understatement!
Other pictures in the carousel include a photo of Kazee holding their 4-year-old son Callum upside down while he laughs, and a snap of Dewan and her daughter Everly, 11, who she shares with ex Channing Tatum, hugging and making kissy faces to each other. There are also more bump photos and a text picture that reads: “Every month has an average of 30 days… Except for the last month of pregnancy which has 316353784.”
Fans were in love of this cute post. “You’re the most beautiful pregnant woman in the world,” one person wrote. Another said, “You just radiate Jenna so happy for you & your family I wish you all many blessings 💕”
The Rookie star often posts pictures of her baby bump. Last month, the dancer posed in a tiny red bikini. “It’s beginning to look a lot like summer 🌞,” she captioned the post, showing her growing belly as she posed with one leg up in the air like a flamingo and a hand on her hip.
And she doesn’t just look good — she’s also seemingly feeling good, too! Dewan shared a video of herself dancing in a white t-shirt, beige maxi skirt, and white sneakers yesterday, where she was able to dance even with her baby bump. “Maybe a Beyoncé bounce will bring on labor… dc: @phoebs” she captioned the video. The way she dances, moves her hips, and drops it low is impressive!
“I am not this flexible and I’m not even pregnant😭,” one person commented.
Dewan is radiant this pregnancy. But with the summer heat and the growing bump, we know she’ll be even happier once the baby is born!
