Serena Williams is building memories with her family at a special place: Legoland! The retired tennis star shared a new video of her day at the park with husband Alexis Ohanian and their eldest daughter Olympia, and fans couldn’t believe how grown up the 6-year-old is now!
“Check out my unedited day at Legoland in Denmark….” Williams wrote on TikTok, commenting on how it wasn’t very busy on the day they went. “hummmm nice and almost private.”
The video begins with Williams demonstrating how you use Lego bricks to create your lunch order, then send it up in a machine. From there, their meals were delivered in big Lego brick boxes. How cool is that?
During their visit, they saw dancing Lego ninjas, life-size Lego creations, and more throughout the park. At one point, Williams and Olympia sat side-by-side on a Lego roller coaster. Olympia’s long hair hung in braids over her shoulder, and she looked so much older with her grown-up teeth and big smile. They both scream in the selfie video as they go down the tracks, wind blowing in their hair. It’s peak summertime, and we can feel their energy through the screen.
At another point, their seat just dropped straight down, and Olympia gave the biggest wide-eyed stare to the camera. “OHHH NOO!” she shrieked before it took off again “I did not expect that,” Williams added with a laugh. It’s pure bliss.
“Jr had a growth spurt!!! So cute🥰🥰🥰” one person commented. “This babie has really changed she is beautiful 🥰” another wrote.
“Olympia is growing up so fast,” someone else said. It really does go by in a blink!
The Olympic gold medalist is also mom to baby Adira, who was born in Aug. 2023. She told Entertainment Tonightin April how she encourages her daughters’ self-confidence.
“For me, it’s super important for them to love who they are and whatever they look like,” the Wyn Beauty founder said. “I also foster that positivity by encouraging them to give others compliments, especially other girls compliments.”
“So if I see a girl in their class, I’m like, ‘Oh, she looks pretty, right?’ She’s like, ‘Yeah, I like her hair.’ I’m like, ‘I like her hair, too,’” she added. “So just kind of encouraging that, because it doesn’t matter what they look like. If you can find something positive about them then you’re also going to find something positive about you and then you’re gonna win.”
