Being there for each other is what family is all about. And when Bruce Willis couldn’t make it to his daughter Mabel’s elementary school graduation on Tuesday, Willis’s ex-wife Demi Moore showed up instead.
The Charlie’s Angels alum was spotted at the 12-year-old’s event, per Daily Mail, where she joined Mabel’s mom, Emma Heming Willis, who is currently married to Bruce. Emma and Bruce’s youngest daughter Evelyn, 10, was also there, as were Bruce and Moore’s daughters Scout, 32, and Tallulah, 30. (Bruce and Moore’s eldest daughter Rumer, 35, was not pictured.)
Everyone was dressed up for the event, with Moore in an oversized gray suit and white sneakers, Tallulah in a denim jacket and orange midi skirt, and Scout in a floral dress. The latter even carried a bouquet of flowers for her little sister.
Emma shared a picture of the big day on Instagram today. Mabel beams in the middle, wearing a white dress and holding flowers, as the rest of her sisters, mom, and Moore hold up pictures of Mabel’s face over their heads.
“Middle school! Here she comes! 👩🏻🎓📚❣️” she captioned the cute photo.
“We love her!!! 7th grade here we go!” Tallulah commented. Scout wrote, “Mabel literally mortified by the masks hahahaha”
Moore has often been supportive of her ex-husband and his new wife, but has been especially so in light of his Feb. 2023 diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia. In an interview with Us Weeklylast month, Rumer shared that her dad is doing “really good” and that his diagnosis made her realized how “beloved” the Die Hard star is.
“I feel like that’s been so evident in the transparency with which we’ve been sharing,” Rumer said. “If sharing our experience, strength, hope and whatever comes forward as a family, if that can bring any sort of hope or comfort to someone else who’s experiencing that, then to me that’s everything.” This blended family is such a beautiful inspiration of love and support!
