After being mercilessly roasted earlier this year, Tom Brady just got a major honor. The NFL legend was just inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame. And it totally makes sense since the former quarterback led the New England team to a whopping six Super Bowl victories.
Brady posted some special photos from the ceremony, and we can’t get over the opening shot of his kids. The Hall of Famer shares 16-year-old Jack with ex Bridget Moynahan and Benjamin, 14 and Vivian, 11 with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen. And even though there’s only a few years between them, Jack and Benny tower over Vivi. Jack — who is notorious for looking just like his famous dad — is well more than a head taller than his little sis, and Vivi only just reaches Benny’s shoulder.
But who knows! Maybe a growth spurt is in store for the tween. After all, her mom is 5’11” and her dad is 6’4″.
“Back home with the family ❤️,” Brady captioned the carousel of photos which included more sweet family photos and pictures from the ceremony. It’s so sweet that the first picture was of his kids, showing that Brady seemingly puts fatherhood before football.
The man, who many have declared the GOAT, gave a touching shoutout to his children during his induction speech. “Your smiles outshine the morning sun. And where I live now, that’s a pretty brilliant sun,” the Florida resident said. “There’s no greater joy than watching the three of you grow and teach me things on your way to becoming incredible young adults.”
Speaking of incredible! Those incredible young adults made an incredible video for their dad ahead of the big day. In it, each of his kids zoomed in on different photos from Brady’s career, listing off his accomplishments and accolades.
“Most importantly, you were just Dad,” Jack (we think!) said. (Those boys are not only similar in height, but their voices are almost identical!)
“And even if you stayed fourth string your whole career, it wouldn’t change how much love our family had,” (possibly) Benny said.
“Just don’t get any ideas when you walk past a locker room today,” (possibly) Jack (I think) jokes — poking fun at the twice-retired quarterback for his tendency to rejoin the league.
