Jason Kelce Was Especially Impressed by One Royal Kid After Eras Tour Meetup

The Kelce family had quite the weekend. They, as members of perhaps the most famous NFL family in the United States, got to meet members of the most famous family in the U.K. (Read: The royal family!) In case you missed the incredible photos, Prince William and two of his kids — 10-year-old Prince George and 9-year-old Princess Charlotte — attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in London, and the royals got to meet Swift and her boyfriend’s family. (Or should we say Swift and the Kelces got to meet two future monarchs?)

Jason Kelce is now opening up about the experience on New Heights, the podcast he co-hosts with brother Travis Kelce, and he said the best part of the experience was meeting Princess Charlotte.

“I gotta say, Prince William was fantastic, but the highlight was Princess Charlotte,” the former NFL player said. And he means no shade toward Prince George! Jason said the young prince “was great too.” But his sister was just “so f*cking adorable.”

“I cannot express how … I don’t know, maybe it’s because I have three girls now — she had fire to her, she was asking questions,” Jason said. “That was the most electric part of [meeting the royals].”

The former center for the Philadelphia Eagles shares three young girls — Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett — with wife Kylie Kelce, so it does make sense that the girl dad would be able to and excited to connect with the Princess of Wales. And we’re not at all surprised to hear she has a fiery spirit. After all, she has a killer side eye and adorable sass.

The Kelce brothers went on to praise Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton — who are also mom and dad to 6-year-old Prince Louis — for the way they’ve raised their kids.

“I love it when parents ask their kids to be vocal,” Travis said.

“They encourage them to lead in a conversation — absolutely,” Jason agreed, calling it “such a good parent move.”

Travis further explained that instead of making it a quick meet and greet where Prince George and Princess Charlotte took a picture and moved on, Prince William made them pause and be present.

“[He] let them have a moment, let them feel comfortable in talking to people … If anyone’s doing it right, Prince William’s doing it right,” Travis said. “So thank you, Your Royal Highness. It was awesome meeting you, and Charlotte and George.”
