Donald Trump’s Granddaughter Is a Certified Swiftie on Her 13th Birthday — & She Has a ‘Bloody’ Cake to Prove It

If anyone can bring America together, it would be Taylor Swift. The “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer has touched the lives of millions around the world throughout her long career, and even Donald Trump’s own granddaughter Arabella is a certified Swiftie! The former president’s daughter Ivanka Trump just shared new photos of her 13-year-old daughter, who she shares with husband Jared Kushner, and her “bloody” cake shows her devotion to the pop singer.

“Happy 13th Birthday to my incredible daughter, Arabella! Watching you grow into a teenager feels like a dream,” Ivanka wrote on Instagram Wednesday. “Your beautiful singing and piano playing, our unforgettable horseback riding adventures, the strength and commitment you show in your Brazilian jiu-jitsu practice and our special girls-only date nights are moments I will forever cherish.”

She added, “Arabella, you inspire and amaze me every day. You are a remarkable young woman and my heart overflows with love for you. Happy Birthday !🤍✨🐴🌙”

Ivanka shared several photos of her daughter, including a picture of Arabella in a floral dress holding a butterfly while her mom kisses her forehead; photos of Arabella and her family, including brothers Joseph, 10, and Theodore, 8; and an ethereal photo of Arabella on a horse.

But the cutest moment came from Arabella’s birthday party, where she ushered in her teenage years with a Swift-themed birthday cake. The white heart-shaped cake says, “Boys only want love if its torture,” which are lyrics from her 2014 hit “Blank Space.” She shared another photo of the cake once it had been cut into. The white cake is splattered with red food coloring, which looks like blood — exactly like the one in the song’s music video. “best cake for my favorite swiftie 💋” she wrote over the photo.

Kim Kardashian — one of Ivanka’s friends, who has famously feuded with Swift since he ex-husband Kanye West released “Famous” in 2016 — commented on the picture. “Happy Birthday Arabella 🤍🩷,” she wrote.

Arabella’s aunt Tiffany Trump commented, “Happy happy birthday!! 🎈❤️”

Swift has been outspoken against Donald Trump since 2020, when he was campaigning. When Trump stoked fire tweeting, “When the looting starts, the shooting starts,” threatening protesters in Minneapolis, Swift responded. “After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November. @realdonaldtrump” she wrote in May 2020.

A few months later, she wrote, “Trump’s calculated dismantling of USPS proves one thing clearly: He is WELL AWARE that we do not want him as our president. He’s chosen to blatantly cheat and put millions of Americans’ lives at risk in an effort to hold on to power.” Swift added, “Donald Trump’s ineffective leadership gravely worsened the crisis that we are in and he is now taking advantage of it to subvert and destroy our right to vote and vote safely. Request a ballot early. Vote early.”

Swift also publicly spoke out about her political views in 2018, when she endorsed Tennessee Democratic candidates Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for House of Representatives. “In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now. I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country,” she wrote at the time. “I believe in the fight for LGBTQ rights, and that any form of discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender is WRONG. I believe that the systemic racism we still see in this country towards people of color is terrifying, sickening and prevalent.”

She told The Guardianin 2020 that Trump has been “gaslighting the American public into being like, ‘If you hate the president, you hate America.’” Swift added, “We’re a democracy – at least, we’re supposed to be – where you’re allowed to disagree, dissent, debate. I really think that he thinks this is an autocracy.”

As for Trump, he commented on the Grammy winner in a Nov. 2023 interview with Ramin Setoodeh for a new book, Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass.

“I think she’s beautiful — very beautiful! I find her very beautiful,” Trump said, per Variety.“I think she’s liberal. She probably doesn’t like Trump. I hear she’s very talented. I think she’s very beautiful, actually — unusually beautiful!”

“She is liberal, or is that just an act?” Trump asked in the interview. “She’s legitimately liberal? It’s not an act? It surprises me that a country star can be successful being liberal.”

He also tried to secure Swift’s vote in Feb. 2024, writing on his social media platform Truth Social, “I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists,” Trump wrote, per Yahoo! Finance. “Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor and never will. There’s no way she could endorse crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt president in the history of our country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money.”

“Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis [Kelce], even though he may be a liberal, and probably can’t stand me!” Trump added.
