Halle Bailey always looks ultra glamorous, whether she’s walking the red carpet or hanging out at home. And for a recent event, she opted for a chic ‘90s style — complete with a tiny version for her 7-month-old baby boy Halo! The Little Mermaid star shared new photos of her and her mini-me, who she shares with rapper DDG, and it’s giving Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears at the 2001 American Music Awards.
The adorable mom-and-son duo rocked denim-on-denim for a photoshoot shared on Instagram. Bailey had a strapless denim jumpsuit on, complete with silver jewelry and her hair in long braids. She held Halo on her hip, and he looked adorable in a white t-shirt under a jean jacket with matching blue jeans. His hair was even in cornrows, looking exactly like his mama. These two have so much style, we are just in awe!
The matching ‘fits were worn for a special occasion: baby Halo’s first concert! “took my baby to his first concert tonight to see bruno mars 💙,” The Color Purple star captioned the photo.
Despite the twinning denim, everyone thought that Halo is starting to look more like his dad. “Yeah I see DDG now 😂” one person wrote. Someone else wrote, “He definitely look like his dad 😯”
Another said, “Awee he’s starting too look just like his daddy 😍 cause girl he was your twin.” (Maybe it’s just the angle? Because we could have sworn Halo was his mama’s clone in pictures she posted last month!)
Although, DDG also posts pictures of their child in matching outfits. Like this one, where Halo has a matching silver cross necklace like his dad. “me & my twinn can’t walk outside the crib wit out our chains on ⛓️💥!! I need a baby size Richard Mille for my son IMMEDIATELY, jewelers tap in 💨💰” he captioned the cute pictures.
At the 2024 Epsy Awards last month, Bailey told Access Hollywood that she’s “very protective” as a mom. “I’m like Mama Bear when it comes to him,” she continued. “And I like that about myself.”
Her motherhood era is so beautiful to see!
These famous moms love wearing matching outfits with their kiddos.
