While royal fans were wishing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, were going to bring their children along to their Colombia trip, that doesn’t mean the pair were going to not talk about them at all!
While the Sussex kids may not make a public appearance until the next Invictus Games, Meghan and Harry find a way to bring them up in everything they do! They talked about them during their video interview earlier this month, back in Nigeria, and now in Colombia.
Per USMagazine, while visiting kindergarteners at the Colegio La Giralda in Santa Fe, Meghan said, in Spanish, to one of the kids, “You’re the same age as my son Archie!”
How sweet!
(For those who don’t know, it’s been reported numerous times that Meghan speaks English, Spanish, and French; while Harry speaks English, and a bit of German.)
While this interaction doesn’t give royal fans any new glimpse into the family of four, it is such a sweet moment; and it shows their kids are always on their minds!
For those who don’t know, Harry and Meghan started dating in 2016, and by April 2018, they were married in a beautiful royal ceremony.
They share two children together named Archie, born in May 2019, and Lilibet Diana, born in June 2021.
In a candid moment back in Nigeria, via Marie Claire, Meghan talked about the parenting advice she received: how you never truly find a balance, and to embrace that.
“I love being a mom,” she said, talking about how people never find the balance. “What I think that means now is that balance will always change for you. That balance, what seems balanced 10 years ago is going to shift. And so being a mom has always been a dream of mine. And I’m so fortunate that we have two beautiful, healthy, very chatty, sweet children.”
