Grace Warrior is only 3, but she already has a special connection with animals — and they seem totally OK taking orders from her! The toddler asked her dog Stella the pug to do something for her recently, and the cute new picture is everything!
The snap, shared on Stella Irwin The Pug’s official Instagram, features Grace and Stella hanging out next to each other on the floor. Grace lies on her stomach dressed in a long-sleeved green shirt with her long brown hair pulled back in a half ponytail on top of her head. She leans in toward Stella, who is standing over a patch of sunlight streaming in from a sliding glass door behind them. A little white ball sits inside a bamboo bowl in the middle of the duo, which Stella is staring at with laser-focused intensity.
“I know it’s not real, but I will guard this egg with my life … Grace asked me to. – Stella,” the post was captioned, seemingly reading Stella’s mind. All it takes is a request from a 3-year-old, and Stella is on it! They have the most wholesome relationship.
Grace has been “best friends” with Stella since she was little, and the family often shares cute photos of the duo together. Like the time when Grace was a baby and she used Stella’s back like a pillow or the time Grace’s Bunny (aka, her grandma) Terri Irwin shared a cute video of Grace walking Stella at the Australia Zoo. “The day Grace walked @stellairwinthepug all the way to Africa!” the video was captioned.
Earlier this year, Bindi praised her daughter’s love of animals on Instagram. “Grace’s empathy and kindness towards animals is remarkable,” Bindi wrote. “She has the most compassionate heart. ❤️”
“We love you so much beautiful Grace,” she added. This little Warrior is going to grow up to do great things, we can already tell!
