Angelina Jolie Reveals Which of Her Iconic Tattoos Are Matching Tattoos With Her Kids

Angelina Jolie is the Hollywood princess of tattoos. For decades, we’ve marveled over her touching, daring ink that covers her body, and now, she just revealed that some of her newer tattoos are actually matching tattoos with her kids.

In a rare, new interview with CR Fashion Book, Jolie revealed which of her many, many tattoos are actually matching ones with some of her kids: “Stay Gold” and the iconic bird tattoo.

In the interview, Jolie revealed that her new “Stay Gold” tattoo is actually a matching tattoo with her 16 year old daughter Vivienne. “I got “Stay Gold” with my daughter Viv during our time with ‘The Outsiders.’ It means so much to us separately and together,” she said. (She got this tattoo earlier this year and apparently, one of the characters, Pony Boy says “Stay Golden” in the play both she and Vivienne worked on.)

Along with that, remember the small bird tattoo Jolie debuted at the 77th Annual Tony Awards this year? Well, that swallow bird is apparently a matching tattoo with multiple of her children!

“There is also a Bird that I share with some of my children that is personal to us,” she said, revealing that “some” of her kids have this tattoo as well.

Isn’t that so cool?!

For those who don’t know, Jolie shares six children with her ex-husband Brad Pitt named Maddox Jolie, born in Aug 2001, Pax Jolie, born in Nov 2003, Zahara Jolie, born in Jan 2005, Shiloh Jolie, born in May 2006, and twins Knox and Vivienne Jolie, born on July 2008.

In a previous interview with People, Jolie talked about how she approaches motherhood, and how wonderful her six children are.

“They’re pretty great people,” Jolie said. “And because there’s so many of them, I think they’ve had a very significant effect on each other. It’s not like I’m the head of anything. I’m very honest with my kids. And I’m very human with my kids.”
