Ashley Tisdale’s newborn baby girl is officially 1-month-old, and the happy mama celebrated by sharing a bunch of photos that revealed baby Emerson’s face for the first time! Fans noticed the sweetest detail about Emerson in these photos that’ll make your heart melt.
“Emerson you are everything 🦋 can’t believe it’s already been a month,” the High School Musical alum, who shares Emerson and daughter Jupiter, 3, with husband Christopher French, captioned the post on Instagram. “Trying to hold on to every moment.”
She looks blissfully happy in the first picture as she cuddles her daughter on a cozy chair. Emerson is cuddled up on her mom’s chest, dressed in beige pajamas and playing with her fingers in her sleep. She has long, dark brown hair and squishy cheeks that are rosy pink. She’s perfect!
Tisdale also shared photos of Emerson sleeping in her stroller, Emerson swaddled in a brown-and-white daisy blanket, and a photo of Emerson gazing up at stars on a playmat. Some of the sweetest moments include those with Jupiter and Emerson together. In one, Jupiter leans over Emerson’s bed to kiss the sleepy baby on her head and give her a big hug. (Our hearts!) In another, Jupiter hangs out in her dad’s lap in Emerson’s room, which features pretty pink butterfly wallpaper. Emerson is sleeping sideways with her head in Jupiter’s lap, and the excited big sister is resting on her hands as she gazes adoringly at her baby sister.

The Phineas & Ferb star announced her daughter’s birth on September 7. “Emerson Clover French, all three of us are obsessed with you. On her Frenshe website, Tisdale shared more details about her postpartum experience. “People say every birth is unique, and now I realize that every postpartum period is unique, too,” Tisdale wrote. “I’m really open about the fact that after having Jupiter, I suffered from postpartum depression (PPD). Obviously I loved Jupiter from her first breath, but something just wasn’t clicking for me as a new mom. I had expected to feel certain things as a new mother, but I didn’t. Instead, I spent a lot of time feeling sad and anxious — and guilty about feeling that way.”
Tisdale explained that she felt “excited but nervous” when she got pregnant with Emerson because she didn’t know how her mental health would be.
“But I was fortunate. My postpartum mental health has been really steady, and wow — what a difference!” Tisdale said. “When I first looked into Emerson’s eyes, I immediately had the connection I’d dreamed of. This postpartum period has been so much easier because I feel like my normal self, and I feel 100% connected with my daughters. I’m not sure if it’s because my hormone levels are different this time (which my doctor said could be a factor) but I’m really cherishing these first few weeks as a family of four.”
