ESPN Shares Resurfaced Photos of LeBron James With Son Bronny & the Comment Section Is Everything

In case you don’t keep up with the NBA, here’s the latest you need to know: LeBron James and his 20-year-old son Bronny made history last night when they became the first father-son duo to play on an NBA team together during a [preseason] game. That’s right! Both James men were on the court at the same time, and if you’re a basketball fan, it was a big. deal.

And if you’re just a James Family Fan ( … same), the old photos that ESPN dug up to commemorate the special occasion will warm your heart and blow your mind. The network shared the most unreal carousel of collages on Instagram. In the opening collage, there’s a photo of a young LeBron holding a toddler Bronny on the court after a game positioned above a photo of them standing side-by-side during one. Next up is a snap of LeBron and a slightly older Bronny sitting on the sideline as father and son above a photo of the two sitting on the sideline as teammates.

Finally, there’s one of LeBron holding up Bronny after a big win above a photo of Bronny helping his dad up off the court after a big play.

“Time flies ⏳,” ESPN captioned the collection that had fans going wild in the comments.

“Say what you want but that’s crazy longevity 🐐,” one person said because it’s astounding that LeBron has been dominating in the league for more than two decades.

“Imagine creating your own teammate 😂🔥🐐,” another said.

“I can’t believe LeBron is smashing his teammate’s mom!” another joked.

“Lebron won in life, this dope,” “Whether you like him or not, this is an insane accomplishment,” “LeUnfathomable.”

Over the summer, Bronny opened up about the chatter about him being a nepo baby.

“I’ve already seen it in [social] media and on the internet and stuff talking about [how] I might not deserve an opportunity,” he said. “But I’ve been dealing with stuff like this for my whole life. It’s nothing different. It’s more amplified for sure, but I can get through it.”

Bronny — who LeBron shares with wife Savannah James along with kids Bryce and Zhuri — also said he isn’t intimidated by this next history-making (and attention-grabbing) chapter in his life because of “stuff that [LeBron] has been telling me my whole life.” “Just having that work ethic, and coming in and getting your work in, and listening to your coaches and being coachable, stuff like that, he’s driven into my head my whole life,” Bronny explained.
