Reindeer card
With just a little paint and your kids own adorable hands and feet, these cards will make all recipients smile. Be sure to keep one for yourself to see how much your kids have grown come next year.
For a mess-free alternative, trace your child’s foot on brown cardboard and cut out for the head. Trace their hands on colored paper for the antlers.
What you will need:
White paper (10″ x12″ or larger)
Tempura paint (brown for the body and another color for the antlers)
Trays for paint
Sponges
Googly eyes
Red pom poms
What to do:
1. Fill a tray with brown paint. Have your child place his/her foot in the paint or sponge paint on the bottom of the foot. Place the foot on the paper so the heel is centered with the bottom of
the paper.
2. Paint the bottom of your child’s left hand with the alternate color and place it an angle touching the foot print to make the left antler. Repeat with the right hand to make the right
antler.
3. Allow to dry completely.
4. Add an expressive face by gluing on googly eyes and a pom-pom nose.
