Expectant mom’s guide to baby gear

Bottles

Best Bottles

New dad Jeff Gordon (a self-described “anal-retentive gadget guy,”) did a thorough search of the best baby products and he found that Dr. Brown and Avent bottles are most recommended to reduce gas intake. He stocked up on 9-ounce bottles, 4-ounce bottles, generic disposable liners for both sizes, and several nipples. Buying all-silicone parts will prevent latex allergy issues.

Cleaning

Cleaning bottles is an ongoing task, so find a helpful tool like Sassy’s bottle brush with soap in the handle. Some brushes have handles with rubber suction to stand upright on the sink. A bottle rack is an easy way to let bottles drip dry, some come with sterilizers.

Bottle warmer

You can purchase a bottle warmer or simply warm the bottle in a large plastic cut filled with hot water.

Next up… bath time!
