“The only things people say about my being tattooed are the usual, ‘Oh, how do you expect to get a job?’ I do have a job. I’m a nurse and I also have tattoos. I’ve actually never gotten anything negative from my co-workers about my tattoos. I’m in home health and the case manager (my direct supervisor) came to check in on a client while I was there. She saw a new tattoo of mine peeking out and then showed me her tattoos, which were all small and easily hidden. The client even enjoyed it!”
