Columbian “Hips Don’t Lie” singer Shakira confirmed on Twitter that she is pregnant!
“A message from Shakira,” she tweeted (in both English and Spanish), with a link to her website that read:
“As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby! At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days. This means I will not be able to be a part of the iHeartRadio Music Festival, but I’m sure this weekend in Las Vegas will be spectacular and I will be closely following everything that happens there!”
Her pregnancy news comes shortly after her announcement that she will be a judge on The Voice next season! “Thanks for your affectionate messages & good vibes! I’m so excited to be a part of #TheVoice next to such talented colleagues,” she tweeted.
September could possibly be Shakira’s best month ever!
Giuliana Rancic
E! News personality Giuliana Rancic shared the first baby photos of her baby Edward, born via gestational surrogate.
“Here he is…excited for u all to meet @DukeRancic!!! Pics in the new issue of @Life_and_Style. Here’s the cover,” she wrote, with a link to the photos of her adorable baby.
“LOL!!! I just noticed that little Duke has a ‘Thumbs Up’ in this @Life_and_Style picture!!” she later wrote.
“are the promos true?! Are u back for the #Emmys?!?!” tweeted one follower to Giuliana.
“Yes! Coming back to E! for one night then back to changing diapers,” she replied.
Giuliana, who is a breast cancer survivor, also tweeted about the importance of early detection and self breast exams. “My moment made possible by early detection is…holding my son for the first time in my arms,” she wrote.
Tori Spelling
Just three weeks after the birth of her fourth child Finn, Tori Spelling had to be hospitalized. Her rep said that she “underwent emergency surgery over the weekend due to complications from her C-section. She remains in the hospital and is resting comfortably.”
Her team tweeted the following on September 19: “An update on Tori from Team editorial” with a link to her website.
“All of us at ediTORIal wanted to take a moment to thank you for your well wishes as Tori recovers from surgery. She is resting comfortably, and appreciates your love and support. We will keep you updated on her progress.”

To end on a funny note, prior to going back into the hospital she tweeted the following little nugget:
“It’s not till the moment when U hear wailing cries all at once frm voices ranging frm 5 yrs to 2 weeks tht U realize…Oh Sh*t! I have 4 kids.”
Kendra Wilkinson
“Baby No. 2? Find out what I shared in @intouchweekly,” Kendra Wilkinson tweeted, with a link to In Touch Weekly.
“Everyone keeps asking me and Hank about Baby No. 2! See what I revealed in InTouch Weekly about my family: When the time’s right, we hope we get a girl, but you’ll have to stay tuned… LOLOL!” she wrote.

Vanessa Lachey tweeted about her first time as a mom to her son, Camden, however no word on that baby name drama when Kristin Cavallari tweeted about their same baby name choices.
“One week ago today at 6:54pm, @NickSLachey & I were holding our son, Camden John Lachey for the 1st time. Life is such a beautiful miracle,” she tweeted. “I just wanted to Thank You ALL for the love and sweet words about baby Camden and our new family. It still feels so surreal to me!”
