Kate Hudson glammed it up on the October cover of Harper’s Bazaar in a black Ralph Lauren Collection dress. The actress chatted about her fiancé, Muse front man Matthew Bellamy, and how her pal Gwyneth Paltrow has helped her navigate the streets of London.
Besides her busy acting career and modeling gig as the face of Anne Taylor, Hudson is also a mom to Ryder (with ex-hubby Chris Robinson) and baby Bingham, with Bellamy. “He was immediately very protective and, you know, watchful,” she said of meeting the Muse rocker. “I Googled him right away! And it was shocking, ’cause he was like two completely different people. I would still tell him, ‘I look at the footage of you playing, but getting to know you, I can’t connect the dots.’“
The couple is engaged, however Hudson says she is in no hurry to get married. “We’ll do it eventually, but I want it to be right. I don’t want to just do it, you know what I mean?”
It sounds like Hudson has a new BFF in fellow London resident Gwyneth Paltrow. “She’s been my go-to about where to get things done — grocery shopping, a good mani-pedi, you know, all that. I look up to Gwyneth and how she has been in her life. She’s the real deal.”
