4. Handprint American flag

What you’ll need:

• red, white and blue craft paint
• construction paper
• paint brush
• silver stars
• glue
• towel for clean-up

What you’ll do:

1. Paint the palm of your child’s hand with the blue paint. Then paint your child’s thumb, middle finger and pinky finger with red paint, and his pointer finger and ring finger with white paint.
2. Press your child’s hand into the paper to create the handprint. Wash off your child’s hand.
3. Once the paint is dry, glue silver stars to the blue part of the handprint to create the flag.
