Easy Father’s Day crafts for kids

Father’s Day is a great time for kids to show Dad how much they care. Kids will have fun making these easy Father’s Day crafts that Dad is sure to love!

What you’ll need:

• picture frame
• nuts, bolts and screws
• glue
• a picture

What you’ll do:

1. Remove the glass and backing from the frame and set the frame on a flat surface.
2. Lay out all of the nuts, bolts and screws so that they fill in the picture frame.
3. Glue each piece to the frame and keep it flat to dry overnight.
4. Put the glass back in the frame, then add a picture and replace the frame’s backing.

What you’ll need:

• money clip
• photocopy of a favorite picture
• matte finish Mod Podge
• Mod Podge Dimensional Magic
• scissors
• paint brush

What you’ll do:

1. Make a photocopy of a picture of your child. Size it down so that it is small enough to fit on the money clip.
2. Paint a thin layer of matte finish Mod Podge over one side of the money clip.
3. Lay the picture over the Mod Podge and smooth out any wrinkles or bubbles.
4. Once the Mod Podge has dried, trim off any overhanging parts of the picture.
5. Coat the top of the picture with the Mod Podge Dimensional Magic to seal and protect the picture. Let it dry for 24 hours before handling.

What you’ll need:

• plain apron
• iron-on letters
• iron
• fabric markers

What you’ll do:

1. Cut out the iron-on letters and lay them out on top of the apron.
2. Iron over the top of the letters according to the package instructions. (Be careful! Only a parent should handle the iron.)
3. Have each child draw a shape or special picture on the apron with the fabric markers.

What you’ll need:

• popsicle sticks
• markers
• tin can
• glue
• rubber bands

What you’ll do:

1. Determine how many popsicle sticks you will need to go around the tin can.
2. Color the popsicle sticks with the markers.
3. Remove the label from the tin can, then glue the popsicle sticks around the can, alternating colors.
4. Wrap a couple of rubber bands around the outside of the can to hold the popsicle sticks in place while they dry overnight.
