Arizona Diamondbacks
Joining Major League Baseball‘s National League in 1998, the Diamondbacks became the fastest expansion team in MLB history to win a World Series, doing it in only their fourth season in 2001. In addition to winning it all, the D-Backs have also won the NL West Division four times, most recently in 2007. Since their inception, the Diamondbacks have played their home games at Chase Field (formerly Bank One Ballpark) right in downtown Phoenix.
Chase Field features a retractable roof with a real grass field and a massive HVAC system capable of keeping the ballpark at a comfortable temperature in the middle of even the most brutal Arizona summer day. There’s also the Sandlot playground inside the park for kids and they offer value priced concessions as well. Pay parking is available, or you can skip the drive and take the Phoenix METRO Rail.
