Online networks, social networks and other groups provide an opportunity to share ideas, provide support and even share tips and teachers for homeschoolers in Georgia. Here are a few great resources for those looking to homeschool:
Georgia Home Education Association

A statewide, all-volunteer organization working to ensure that the people of Georgia and their government recognize home study, freely practiced in its diverse forms, as a legitimate choice and value it as a positive force for improving the quality of education. We are non-partisan and non-sectarian.
World Changers Home School Support Group

Home School Fellowship – Provides opportunities for parents who home school their children to come together to solve problems, share ideas and enjoy fun activities with their children such as field trips, activities and educational fairs. Families may also register for enrichment classes to supplement their curricula of choice. You need not be a member of World Changers Ministries to be a member of our support group.
Atlanta Alternative Education Network
Statement:
We are a not-for-profit cooperative support group of homeschoolers and other educators interested in exploring alternatives to public/private schools. We are concerned about the state of our educational system today, and we are committed to involve ourselves in the education of our children to help insure a future that matches our hopes and visions. As an organization, we have no religious affiliation and welcome people of all belief systems, ethnic backgrounds, educational styles and ages. We seek diversity for the educational experience it is.
