Lee and Joe Jamail Skatepark

The Lee and Joe Jamail Skatepark is a world-class, in-ground skatepark covering 30,000 square feet and designated areas for skaters of all levels. In keeping with safety standards, all skaters must wear helmets. Free classes are offered on a first-come, first served basis. The Skatepark is located within Eleanor Tinsley Park in downtown Houston.

Hermann Park

What happens when urban planners, architects, horticulturists, and other professionals come together to plan a park? You get Hermann Park, an incredible space in the heart of Houston. This park has a stunning golf course, jogging trails, a railroad that takes visitors on a scenic tour, playground equipment that’s accessible to kids of all abilities, an interactive water play area, a garden center, and more. It’s also located right next to the zoo, the Museum of Science, and other area attractions.

Discovery Green

Discovery Green is a 12-acre park in downtown Houston that has a little bit of everything. A gorgeous lake, a playground for the kids, water activities, dog runs, restaurants, and WiFi for moms and dads who want to stay connected.
