Camp Wicosuta, New Hampshire

Camp Wicosuta’s philosophy is to build girls confidence and competence in a safe and fun community. They call these the “3 C’s.” The 3 Cs drive everything that is done at camp. Their individual elective program allows girls to focus on the activities they love, which means they have a high level of participation all over camp.

As an all-girls’ camp, they offer girls the unique opportunity to have fun and be themselves for their 4 weeks. They go to breakfast in pajamas, wear wacky hairstyles on “Crazy Hair Night”, stand on chairs singing, cheering and dancing in the dining hall and dress up in costumes for “Monster Mash.”

Wicosuta in its 90th summer in operation is located just south of the White Mountains in New Hampshire. on Newfound Lake, the 4th cleanest lake in the state. Wico is lush, green, rolling, and very campy. Their cabins are traditional brown with white trim and retain the look and feel of traditional summer camps with updated interiors with pine paneled walls and wooden floors.

What we love:

Horseback riding (on site) and ice skating (off site), creative and performing arts, as well as outdoor adventure (tripping and ropes course), water sports (swimming, junior lifeguarding, water skiing, wake boarding, knee boarding, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, wind surfing).

Parent perks:

Camp Wicosuta provides year-round educational and developmental tools to help parents stay informed of current trends and issues that kids are dealing with (i.e. book suggestions, articles, educational programming, etc.). and make themselves available to meet and speak with parents regularly.
