An outdoor experience in the heart of Wisconsin, offered by the Jewish Community Center.
JCC Camp Chi, Wisconsin
In it’s 90th anniversary year, at this camp kids will grow independent and just “be” who they are, challenge themselves by exploring and trying new activities, and learn life lessons that they carry with them forever.
Just a mile from the famous Wisconsin Dells, the camp — billed as the Midwest’s premiere Jewish overnight camp for boys and girls ages 9 to 16 — is located on 600 acres of majestic pines nestled in the heart of Wisconsin, on their own Lake Blass. Expansive lighted athletic fields for outdoor and evening activities, four-sided free standing climbing wall, waterfront with sandy beach for canoeing, sailing, inflatables, air, high and low ropes challenge courses and more.
What we love:
Horseback riding with trails, water tubing, wake boarding, sailing, rock climbing, sports, photography, Ultimate frisbee, nature crafts, mosaics, knee boarding, jewelry, cheerleading, more.
Parent perks:
Camp Chi is committed to supporting each child’s individual needs and aspirations for a meaningful and memorable camp experience. Campers feel part of a community, while having the overnight experience of a lifetime. They offer specific programs that introduce the new camper to the overnight experience. They offer a 2+2+4 program where campers spend 2 weeks at day camp, then travel with their friends to 2 weeks of resident camp at Camp Chi, and then come back to day camp for 4 weeks. In addition, they offer a 3 night/4 day experience called “Try Chi” where kids come to learn all about the adventures and fun at Camp Chi.
