Utah is known for its great outdoors, and camping is a favorite activity year-round. Find campgrounds all over the state in a variety of climates and landscapes.

Rendezvous Beach Bear Lake

Bear Lake is a favorite vacation spot for many people, and Rendezvous Beach is one of the most popular spots there. Located on the south shores of Bear Lake, this campground offers sandy beaches, boat rentals and full bathrooms. Full amenities for RVs are available, or bring a tent and camp on the soft ground provided.

Spruces

This is one of the most popular campgrounds in Utah. With 97 individual sites and nine group sites, these shady camping spots can accommodate RVs as well as tents. Hiking trails, wading creeks, baseball fields, grills, horseshoe pits and volleyball courts make this a popular campground for locals. Half of the spots can be reserved ahead of time, while the other half are first come, first served. Get there early to ensure your spot.

North Fork

Located up Ogden Canyon in Eden, the North Fork campground is a popular spot for those spending time at Pine View Reservoir. Full RV hookups as well as tent sites are available. Bathrooms with flushing toilets are on site, as are drinking water spouts. Horse corrals are available. Group sites are also available for those holding family reunions or large gatherings.

Fort Buenaventura

Open March through November, this historic campground contains 25 RV sites and 25 tent sites. Group sites are available, as are sites with full hookups or tents only. A small pond where those 13 and younger can fish is a favorite activity for kids. A canoeing pond makes this campground stand apart from others in the area.

Currant Creek Campground

Hot showers and horseback riding make this a popular campground. It has been around for many years, and an old-fashioned playground holds memories for multi-generations of families. Boating, fishing and swimming are activities campers can enjoy, and because it’s higher in elevation than other campgrounds, it’s not as busy and crowded as others.

Little Sahara Recreation Area

Known as the “sand dunes,” this is a popular camping area for those passionate about ATVs and extreme sports. With five different camping areas and more than 200 camping spots, this is a popular destination during holiday weekends. An RV dump station, flush toilets and drinking water are all available.

Aspen Grove Campground

Located on the shores of Strawberry Reservoir above Soldier Creek Dam, this campground is equipped with bathrooms, showers and a convenience store. Boat rental is available at the rental shop. Fishing is a popular attraction while staying at this campground. Paves roads and flushable toilets are available throughout the campground. A camp host is available to point you in the direction of the best hiking trails for all ages.
