The annual New York City Toy Fair happened a few weeks ago, and the event featured 7,000 new toys. All the biggest (and smallest) brands displayed their latest and greatest products. But we know that you, dear busy parents, don’t exactly have time to check out every single new toy your precious little ones might love. So we scoured the new releases for the real standouts — 21 exciting playthings that promise to be the best toys of 2019.
Some of our toy picks won’t even hit shelves until later this year; others are available online right now. Robots, surprise toys and llamas are still big this year, and the food-themed toys, movie tie-ins and collectible dolls (dolls for all genders) are still going strong.
Click through to see our top picks for 2019’s coolest toys yet. You may want to stock up for the whole year of birthdays and holidays — because these gifts are likely to get pretty popular. Consider this your guide to being ahead of the curve.
Our mission at SheKnows is to empower and inspire women, and we only feature products we think you’ll love as much as we do. Please note that if you purchase something by clicking on a link within this story, we may receive a small commission of the sale.
