If you are the kind of person who diligently sniffs out the biggest bargain for everything you buy, we are telling you nothing new when we say that Aldi has some great deals. The German supermarket chain is kind of miraculous that way. In case you’re just catching onto that fact, we’d like to take this moment to point out that Aldi’s got an entire department devoted to baby products at crazy good prices.
Of course, when it comes to taking care of our littlest ones, price isn’t the only criteria we want to use. A really cheap diaper that leaks all the time and causes severe rashes is not just terrible for our babies, but also not cost-effective. If you need two wipes to do the job of one more expensive one, that’s also unhelpful. We’d rather scrimp and save in any other possible way, in order to keep our kids healthy and safe. But we don’t have to in this case. Aldi’s house baby brand, Little Journey, gets top marks from the experts, including the Good Housekeeping Institute, while still managing to be less expensive than leading brands at other stores.
We wish that Aldi would open up an online store so that everyone could benefit from these deals. In the meantime, at least we’re able to multitask when buying those great Aldi food staples. Plus, you can use Instacart, if you’re not in the mood to make an in-person visit to browse your local Aldi’s shelves. Head over here to find the nearest store.
When you do, here are some of our favorite Aldi baby products.

Little Journey Diapers
The Aldi store brand, which comes in newborn through 5T sizes, is most often compared to Huggies diapers, and these are every bit as effective as Huggies at keeping little bottoms dry. They’re perfume- and latex-free, use a hypoallergenic liner with vitamin E, and have a wetness indicator. Prices vary from store to store, but they are sometimes half or a third of the price that Huggies would be at Walmart.
Little Journey Wipes
Some of us (and our babies) are very picky when it comes to the all-important wipes. These are much like Huggies Natural Care line — and they’re fragrance- and alcohol-free — but they’re also usually much cheaper.
Little Journey Diaper Rash Cream
This zinc oxide cream is the same formulation as Desitin. The fact that it’s about one-fifth of the price should at least ease your pain when your baby’s got a rash.
Little Journey Baby Wash
This stuff is genuinely tear-free and comparable to Johnson & Johnson’s Head-to-Toe wash. It’s also free from phthalates, parabens, and quaternium-15, but still a steal.
Little Journey Baby Formula
Baby formula can get so darn expensive, and your spending only increases as your baby gets bigger and hungrier. We love being able to buy the equivalent of Similac Pro-Advantage Non- GMO (with DHA, Choline, and Vitamin E) or Enfamil Gentlease (with reduced lactose) at a fraction of the price.
Little Journey Organic Fruit Pouches
Both adventurous and picky eaters will love the variety of flavors available in classic pouch form. Parents will love that they can get organic purees for such a reasonable price.
Little Journey Strawberry Apple, Blueberry, & Banana Puffs
Like Gerber Graduates, these puffs are really great practice foods for babies just starting on solids. They have a satisfying crunch even for your toothless wonders.
Little Journey Little Munchers
In cheese and veggie flavors, these snacks are just like Gerber Graduates Crunchies. They’re more about being tasty and fun to handle than they are nutritious.
Little Journey Mixed Berry and Strawberry Yogurt Bites
Freeze-dried yogurt, real berries, and zero preservatives make this a delicious beginner snack, too. Compare it to Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts.
Bendon Mini Blocky Books
You don’t always know what non-food items will be at your local Aldi, but we’ve often had luck finding adorable board books there. This publisher covers subjects from elephants to toilets in its baby-size pages.
Zak! Flatware
Again, there’s no guarantee that this particular item will be at your store, but you should totally look out for these forks and spoons. They’re available with Paw Patrol, Frozen 2, Trolls, and Minecraft decorations.
